Event - Burgas madness

This summer, join us for Burgas Madness, the official reopening event celebrating the return of Burgas Airport following an extensive six-month renovation programme. Taking place on the 05 June 2026, from 15:00z to 19:00z, the event invites pilots from across the network to experience the airport’s modernised facilities and renewed operations while flying to one of Bulgaria’s most popular destinations on the Black Sea coast.

With comprehensive air traffic control services provided by BGvACC in cooperation with VATEUD, participants can look forward to a realistic and engaging flying experience, featuring full ATC coverage throughout the event. Whether you are arriving, departing, or incorporating Burgas into a longer route, this is the perfect opportunity to be among the first to operate into the newly reopened airport and celebrate its return to service.
